🏠 MasterSync is Self-Hosted
MasterSync is a self-hosted solution. All your account data, files, and backups are stored on YOUR own server (Forge container). The app developer does not have access to, collect, or control any of your personal data.
What Data Does MasterSync Collect?
Developer-Collected Data (Anonymous Only):
- Firebase Analytics: Anonymous app usage statistics (optional, can be disabled in settings)
- Crash Reports: Anonymous error logs to improve app stability
Self-Hosted Data (You Control):
- User Account: Stored on YOUR Forge server
- Backed Up Files: Stored on YOUR Forge server
- Gallery Photos: Stored on YOUR Forge server
- All App Data: Everything is on YOUR infrastructure
How to Delete Your Data
Option 1: Delete from Forge Server (Recommended)
Since you control your own Forge server, you can delete your data directly:
- Access your Forge admin panel at
https://your-server-ip:3000/admin
- Navigate to User Management
- Select your account and click "Delete User"
- All associated files and data will be permanently removed
Option 2: Uninstall Forge Container
For complete data removal from your infrastructure:
- Stop the Forge container in TrueNAS/Docker
- Delete the container and associated volumes
- All data will be permanently erased from your server
Option 3: Disable Analytics (App-Level)
To stop anonymous analytics collection:
- Open MasterSync app
- Go to Settings → Privacy
- Toggle "Analytics" to OFF
- No further analytics data will be sent to Firebase
